Transform Your Walls into Architectural Art: The Power of Wall Washing
Why settle for a standard porch light when you can turn your entire home into a vertical masterpiece? Up and Down Wall Lights (also known as Bi-directional Sconces) are the gold standard for modern architectural lighting. By casting light simultaneously toward the sky and the ground, these fixtures create a stunning "column of light" that adds instant height, depth, and a high-end "custom home" feel to any facade.
Whether you’re framing a grand entryway, highlighting the columns of a modern garage, or adding a sophisticated layer of light to a long hallway, our heavy-duty dual-emission lights deliver clean, crisp lines that define your home’s silhouette long after the sun goes down.
Common Questions About Up & Down Wall Lights
Do I need to buy two separate bulbs for these lights?+
It depends on the model! 💡 Many of our modern up and down lights feature high-performance Integrated LEDs, meaning the light source is built right in and designed to last 50,000+ hours. For our bulb-required models, you will typically need two GU10 or E26 base bulbs. We always recommend using matching bulbs for the top and bottom to maintain that perfect symmetry.
Can I adjust the beam angle to make it wider or narrower?+
While most of our classic cylinders have a fixed, professional-grade beam angle (usually around 45° to 60°), some of our Adjustable Up and Down Wall Lights feature internal flaps that allow you to manually customize the light spread. This is perfect for creating unique, asymmetrical patterns on your walls! 🎨
