A nice light.

It took a little bit to get them and when they came, the box they were in was damaged and I was afraid the lights might be also. But they were ok. The lights seem to work fine, they have a nice glow not a beacon type light. Thus far we are extremely pleased!

Does the solar lantern require a special bulb??

Thank you for your interest in our products. This solar light comes equipped with integrated LED chips, not traditional bulbs. The hardwired version, however, is compatible with E27 bulbs.
The solar option(not hardwired) is a dual-use model, meaning it can be powered by both solar energy and a hardwired connection. If you plan to use only the solar function, you can simply disregard the hardwired cable and bulb.
Should you decide to use the hardwired function in the future, just install an E27 bulb and connect the hardwired cable, and it will operate as a hardwired light.
