Project Type
Corporate Office Lighting & Interior Environment Project
Products Applied
Integrated linear LED ceiling lighting, decorative pendant fixtures, meeting-room pendant clusters, low-glare ambient lighting, circulation lighting, feature lighting for lounge areas, and coordinated architectural lighting for entry and interior visibility

Project Overview

Dazuma brought a coordinated lighting package, combining fixture selection, finish alignment, and practical planning across lounge, meeting, and work zones.

Technolounge Workplace was developed as a contemporary office environment where lighting needed to support multiple modes of use within one cohesive design language. The project combines open workstations, enclosed meeting spaces, informal lounge seating, and clear circulation routes, all tied together through warm integrated ceiling lighting, restrained decorative fixtures, and strong daylight access. Rather than treating the office as a purely functional workspace, the lighting strategy was developed to make the environment feel more human, welcoming, and adaptable throughout the day. Dazuma’s lighting approach focused on visual comfort, architectural consistency, and a more refined workplace atmosphere suited to the expectations of a modern U.S. office tenant.

A unified lighting language across work, meeting, lounge, and circulation areas
Warm, low-glare workplace lighting that reduces the harshness often associated with standard office interiors
Dazuma-coordinated fixture selection that combines architectural lighting with decorative focal elements for a more premium office experience

From Brief to Final Installation

Project Brief

Brief

Understanding the scope, priorities, and visual direction

We begin by reviewing the project goals, site conditions, space functions, and overall design expectations. This early stage helps define the lighting direction and identify the key performance needs for the project.

Drawing & Site Review

Concept

Translating concept requirements into buildable conditions

Drawings, dimensions, ceiling conditions, and installation constraints are reviewed to align the lighting plan with the actual site. This step helps reduce coordination issues before fixtures move into final selection and placement.

Fixture Coordination

Technical

Matching fixture types, finishes, and placement to the project

Fixture specifications are coordinated according to the design intent, application requirements, and site conditions. Size, finish, light output, and mounting details are considered together to support both visual impact and practical use.

Installation Support

Installation

Supporting clean execution during the installation phase

During installation, fixture positioning, on-site conditions, and execution details are reviewed to keep the lighting plan aligned with the intended result. This stage is critical for maintaining consistency across the project.

Final Adjustment & Delivery

Result

Refining the result for visual balance and day-to-day use

After installation, the lighting is reviewed as a complete environment. Final adjustments help improve visual balance, support the intended atmosphere, and ensure the space performs well in practical use.

Exterior & Arrival

A clear, modern entry sequence that presents the workplace as open, professional, and active after dark

The exterior and arrival lighting were designed to strengthen visibility at the building edge while allowing the interior activity to remain legible through the glazed facade. Warm interior light, decorative pendants near the entrance, and integrated ceiling lines help the workplace read as occupied and welcoming from outside. During evening hours, the transparent entry condition gives the office a more premium and approachable presence, supporting both visitor arrival and tenant identity.

· Improve nighttime visibility without resorting to heavy exterior lighting
· Use the glazed facade to reveal interior warmth and activity
· Support a stronger first impression for staff, guests, and clients

Open Workspace

A daylight-driven office floor designed for focused work, visual comfort, and flexible team use

The open office area combines strong daylight access with disciplined integrated ceiling lighting to support everyday work without excessive visual noise. Long linear lighting runs were aligned with the slatted ceiling system to reinforce the architectural rhythm of the space and maintain a more ordered visual field above the desks. The lighting was intended to support concentration and all-day usability while keeping the floor plate bright, consistent, and comfortable across changing daylight conditions

· Support focused work with broad, low-glare illumination
· Use lighting lines to reinforce ceiling rhythm and workspace order
· Maintain brightness and comfort across a heavily daylit floor plate

Collaboration Lounge

An informal soft-seating zone designed for short meetings, team conversation, and decompression within the workday

The collaboration lounge introduces a softer workplace layer within the open office environment. Sculptural pendants above the seating group help define the area without fully enclosing it, while the surrounding daylight and warm ceiling treatment keep the space connected to the broader office. The lighting intentionally shifts away from pure task efficiency and toward a more social, comfortable tone, giving teams a place for informal discussions and short breaks.

· Differentiate the lounge from desk areas through softer lighting character
· Create a visually calm setting for conversation and informal work
· Use decorative fixtures to introduce a more premium workplace identity

Meeting Room

A glass-enclosed meeting space with balanced decorative and ambient lighting for discussion, presentations, and client interaction

The meeting room was designed to feel more refined than a standard conference enclosure. Decorative pendant lighting provides a warm focal layer above the table, while the surrounding ambient lighting keeps the room clear and usable for meetings at different times of day. The transparency of the enclosure allows the room to feel connected to the wider office, but the lighting helps give it a distinct identity and a more intentional client-facing presence.

· Create a stronger visual identity for enclosed meeting spaces
· Support discussion and table-centered activity without harsh overhead light
· Balance transparency with spatial distinction inside the office plan

Corridor & Circulation

A continuous circulation spine designed for clarity, quiet rhythm, and seamless movement through the workplace

The circulation corridor was lit as a calm connector rather than a secondary leftover space. Linear ceiling lighting follows the full depth of the corridor and strengthens directional movement, while recessed niches, softened wall planes, and restrained brightness levels prevent the area from feeling harsh or purely utilitarian. This approach supports navigation, improves visual continuity, and allows circulation to remain aligned with the premium tone of the rest of the workplace.

· Use continuous lighting lines to improve directional clarity
· Keep circulation visually quiet and consistent with adjacent zones
· Avoid the overly bright, institutional feel common in standard office corridors
