Project Overview

Dazuma supported the project with a coordinated outdoor lighting solution across entry, courtyard, façade, planting, and pedestrian areas.

This project was developed around the idea that a corporate campus exterior should do more than meet minimum visibility standards. It should communicate brand quality, support comfortable pedestrian movement, extend workplace usability beyond daylight hours, and create a more refined transition between building, landscape, and people. The site combines a formal entry sequence, landscaped courtyard gathering zones, linear pedestrian paths, integrated seating, and parking connections. Rather than relying on excessive brightness, the lighting strategy was built through controlled layers—arrival, façade, circulation, social space, planting, and site orientation. Dazuma’s role can be positioned as helping coordinate those layers into one unified and commercially credible exterior lighting system.

From Brief to Final Installation

Project Brief

Brief

Understanding the scope, priorities, and visual direction

We begin by reviewing the project goals, site conditions, space functions, and overall design expectations. This early stage helps define the lighting direction and identify the key performance needs for the project.

Drawing & Site Review

Concept

Translating concept requirements into buildable conditions

Drawings, dimensions, ceiling conditions, and installation constraints are reviewed to align the lighting plan with the actual site. This step helps reduce coordination issues before fixtures move into final selection and placement.

Fixture Coordination

Technical

Matching fixture types, finishes, and placement to the project

Fixture specifications are coordinated according to the design intent, application requirements, and site conditions. Size, finish, light output, and mounting details are considered together to support both visual impact and practical use.

Installation Support

Installation

Supporting clean execution during the installation phase

During installation, fixture positioning, on-site conditions, and execution details are reviewed to keep the lighting plan aligned with the intended result. This stage is critical for maintaining consistency across the project.

Final Adjustment & Delivery

Result

Refining the result for visual balance and day-to-day use

After installation, the lighting is reviewed as a complete environment. Final adjustments help improve visual balance, support the intended atmosphere, and ensure the space performs well in practical use.

Project Spaces

Present each project zone with a clear structure: concept basis, finished photography, installation evidence, and fixture notes.

Main Entry Arrival

A formal exterior entry sequence designed to establish professionalism, clarity, and nighttime confidence

The arrival zone is structured around a calm but highly legible sequence: drive-up edge definition, covered entry emphasis, façade-mounted lighting, and a clear transition into the lobby. The building frontage uses warm architectural lighting to support identity, while low-level site fixtures maintain orientation at ground level. In the U.S. corporate market, this kind of arrival experience matters because it shapes how clients, partners, and employees perceive the quality of the workplace from the first moment. Dazuma’s role can be presented as helping coordinate this balance between brand presence and practical clarity.

· support a premium corporate identity

Central Courtyard

A people-centered outdoor workplace space designed for informal meetings, pause moments, and after-hours usability

The courtyard is one of the strongest spaces in this project because it turns the campus exterior into active workplace infrastructure. Integrated benches, raised planted zones, tree accents, and controlled pathway lighting create a usable setting for informal conversations, small meetings, or quiet breaks. The lighting does not flood the area; instead, it defines edges, highlights textures, and preserves visual comfort. Dazuma can be positioned here as helping translate landscape architecture and workplace goals into a balanced nighttime environment.

· Encourage outdoor use, support informal gathering
· create a comfortable after-dark social atmosphere

Pedestrian Spine & Linear Guidance

A clean circulation route reinforced through low-profile light integrated directly into the paving field

The linear recessed lighting in the paving is a major identity element in this scheme. It helps establish direction without cluttering the site with more upright fixtures than necessary. Combined with bollards and architectural glow at the building edges, the path feels clear, contemporary, and easy to read. This is particularly effective in corporate environments where nighttime circulation must feel intuitive without becoming visually noisy.

Bench & Seating Edge Illumination

Integrated lighting that gives social seating areas a more usable and finished nighttime presence

Several images show seating edges treated as illuminated architectural elements rather than simple furniture. That decision matters because it helps the courtyard feel intentionally occupied after dark. Bench glow adds spatial definition, improves edge recognition, and supports a more welcoming atmosphere without creating glare at eye level. In well-executed workplace projects, these small integrated details often do more for perceived quality than large-output fixtures.
